Motocross in Miami

Heading to Miami for labor day weekend to kick back.. while I'm there I want to check out some moto.. any tracks at all out there?? I've been a lot but never run into any moto shops (shocker) so I don't know if you have to drive a couple hours to ride, or if maybe Ft. Lauderdale has a scene.

The only track I know of is Miami MX park

That is all I can offer as I have never been there and tend to avoid Miami at all costs.

Ft Lauderdale has not had a track since Air Dania closed down several years ago.

South Florida is a terrible place these days as far as any area to ride goes. We turned it all into strip malls and golf courses.

Yep.
Ridden there many times.

I like the track, but some of my friends don't. So best thing to do is watch some vids on YouTube.

Thanks DS. Not your scene? Haha I can understand. Should be a fun boys weekend though. Def want to check out moto, everywhere I travel I like to scope the MX scene. Differs a lot around the country. Probably the best i've been around is in cali for sure.

I used to go to bars/clubs in Miami for concerts in years past. Traffic was usually a hassle and finding legal parking sucked. On more than one occasion the night would end with our group trying to figure out which towing company had made off with the vehicle we came in.

This track is way out west off US 27 and Krome ave.

You can take 595 and 27, and never see any population of Miami, it's basically in the Everglades.

Lol super true. This weekend will be valet only for us, might as well fork a little over to avoid paying for towing later. Fontainebleau has decent valet but $$$ will add up with 5 cars.
