That's pretty cool. A buddy of mine and his wife are really into jiu jitsu, so they got former PRIDE MMA announcer Lenne Hardt to announce them at their wedding.

There are some threads out there where folks have hired him for stuff in the past...kids football team intros, voicemails, etc. His working name is David Lee, and you can find his site by looking up David Lee Imaging. We emailed a few times back and forth with my idea, which he was extremely gracious enough to do. I send him the script, and he produced everything together with the music for a very reasonable price. Definitely a consummate professional.

After the intro, I had a few folks who recognized his voice from other events..."was that the guy from the Gator Nationals?! Or is he the announcer from Monster Jam?!?" He turned everything around within a few days, and sent us the final file for review. The night I received the email from him with the first take, she was having one of those days where nothing went right. Called her back, cued up the intro, and she instantly perked up and said how great of a job David did. Well worth it!!

My wife surprised me with our cake. The decorator didn't know anything about dirt bikes but I think she did a pretty good job. Since half the guests were motocrossers it was obviously a big hit.
