Hey im looking for a spot in the moto industry, something basic not to crazy with degrees and stuff because im still attending college, Preferably part-time if possible. Im located in southern California, so i know there is alot of things around i just kind of want to get a kick in the right direction. Right know im currently working in the construction field as a commercial plumber (stuff isn't for me)..Any help would be greatly appreciated my email-Motox4lifex@gmail.com, or send me a pm at anytime.. thx for your help. i also have a resume if you need me to send it.
i to live in socal and what i did was walked into the shops and handed my resume to someone who would take it. you would be surprised at how many shops you can hit in one day in the 909. another good place is cycle news. they always have industry job posting in the cycle news paper. i started on working on orders and shipping then made my way into graphic design. lots of graphic design is needed and lost of shipping receiving jobs. work your way up bro. get to know who the key people are. talk to those key people at the races and practice. i guess you can say networking is important. i did get some help from my uncle who knew a few key individuals from his racing days but i put alot of effort to. and remember most of these companies are small and not corporate. must wear many hats in the moto industry.
The Shop
Got it
Picture is much clearer now
Ohh yeah Ballsed out you kinda sound like a sales guy. HAHAHA
MX JOB
... at the very least you should refer back to it every now and then and take notes on who's looking and what they're looking for.
If you want one with a team, go to Pro Circuit and tell him you will sweep floors for free until you learn enough to have a paid position.
If you want a job like Ballsout claims to have, go to an apparl company and apply, those jobs are a dime a dozen.
In all honesty, its not for everyone and sometimes sucks ass. It isnt nearly as clamorus as one might think.
Please, dont act like your life sucks.

I like your other posts in this thread too. Gave me a good laugh.
Part time mx industry jobs
BTW I worked at Motorcycle dealerships for the first 9 years of my employment eligible life... didn't ruin my hobby, other things have, but I sure do know a lot about street bikes...
I got started by building good relationships with the dealer I bought bikes from over the years and was in one day to get new bikes and left w/ a job offer. 4years later I'm still here selling bikes and have 3classes left to have my associates in business/marketing.
SO I'll be looking for a change in scenery SOON.
