Okaym maybe not THE most impressive, but its in the top 3, for sure.

Watch this French Rider (Pela Renet) at the ISDE last week in Argentina...its unbelievable how fast he goes over those rocks.

And watch is line choices...he doesn't follow the beaten path.

Needs a clapping hand gif to accompany his performance.

I had a dream once of me riding...and even in that dream I was almost as fast as that guy.

I've watched it three times...and it still boggles my mind how fast he is going over those rocks...he's racing that course like they aren't even there.

That explains why he dominated Six Days this year...good grief.

It's also impressive how a guy who grew up in a country without any deserts can ride that kind terrain so well.

The lines he takes should either:

destroy the wheels on the bike

or

make you hit the ground so hard you can't get up

or both.

I sure hope that was enough to win the test. I can't imagine anyone going much faster than that. Amazing how he gets the bike leaned over so much with so little traction. The terrain reminds me a lot of Hemingway's Butte, Idaho, some amazing sand washes there!

Looks like that could go very haywire in a millisecond. The guy's brain must process visual spacial information way faster than normal people.

Good Lord!!! How the hell does someone rip across the tops of freakin' boulders like that? That dude has a shit ton of talent.....and must have balls the size of watermelons! I was seriously scared for that dude if would of gone down.....uuhhgg!!

What place did he get? Please tell me that dude took first....because I don't know how it would be humanly possible to ride a dirtbike any faster than that....on that terrain! Incredible!

Thanks for posting that Titan!!

Listening to the bike.... one can hear a higher gear - low rev - smooth rider doing his thing. The higher gear and momentum helps the compliance of the suspension. Also one can ride with softer suspension settings. Couple that with skill, motivation and big balls !!!!!!

If I only had that type of terrain to ride I would give up the sport!! Yuck!! Boss skills though!!

So much of that terrain looks so familiar.......... Utah, Nevada surface of the moon........... I know it's thousands of miles away, but I can't help but see so many of the desert race course similarities that we ride and race on around here. For some reason I kept thinking it was the Wendover race, then stuff around Dubinky.........crazy. Mike Knight's references and write ups are so amazing.

Thanks for posting this up, Titan.

I'm assuming you were being sarcastic...but that is regular speed. It was day 5 test 2...his time was 8:14...the exact time it took him in the video...

Also...though he won the ISDE overall, he finished 3rd on this test...Taylor Robert and Kailub Russel both beat him (by less than 6 seconds...but still).

Blame the FIM...they won't allow cameras mounted on the riders...

In terms of good riding...in the enduro world, it just plain doesn't get any better than that...that is the best in the world doing his thing on the biggest stage in his sport...sure the camera was mounted in a dumb spot...but what he is doing on that bike, over that terrain, is undeniably impressive. Pure talent.

It's like the enduro equivalent of watching a Ryan Villopoto helmet cam video....
