Ok...i'm still confused, and you asked all the right questions. Part of me wishes he could get that Kawi ride, just to answer all the questions, but then after the outdoors and last weekend i'm not so sure.Dizzy

Listening to that and his RacerX article, it seems that he is unwilling to go balls out if he is not happy with the bike and/or has a sketchy moment on the track. Fair enough and smart too.
But it seems that is not gonna get you a gig on a factory team and therein lies the problem.

Excellent interview, GuyB! Christophe I'd a lot more eloquent than I thought, and speaks better English than I thought too. One thing for sure...he was very clear on what he is comfortable & confident on, and what he isn't. At least the guy isn't vague! He doesn't like the Yamaha, likes the Kawie. Maybe BUD will sign him for the '15 American SX series and Kawasaki will be impressed enough to give him s shot in '16.

Good stuff GuyB. I personally have always likes CP. Hope he can put it together. I would love to see him battling up front.

Thanks for the feature GuyB!

CP377 is so interesting to me for some reason. I just can't get enough.

It's wild to think that he legitimately might be one of the most talented racers of his generation and he's entering the 2015 season without a ride.

Thanks!
That was a great interview!
It would be so cool if Pourcel and Bud Racing could put something together with Kawi support.
A happy Pourcel is a dangerous Pourcel.

great interview

for gods sake someone offer this guy a decent ride for next season! if he's on a decent bike he will win races- he attracts alot of media attention. what the hell is wrong with this industry when a guy like that is without a ride?!!!!

Interesting to hear him say he wasnt that comfortable on the yamaha- yet he still won races and had several podiums/top 5 finishes on it. Honestly i cannot comprehend why this guy doesnt have a ride next year!! Love to watch him ride. Hopefully he gets something sorted out. Green or yellow! If he gets a 450 ride he will get more podiums than hahn, barcia, seeley, grant, bagget who have all been given top tier rides ahead of him

What's weird is that some american fans still believe a word he says...
Pity you didn't see him "race" on sunday...
"I'm not here for the money... My new Kawi is not properly set up for getting holeshots..." LMFAO...
Great jokes.

Did christophe bang your wife or something? You seem to have an irrational hatred of the man. A true moto fan would appreciate the guys talent and style on a dirtbike. Its poetry in motion! Smoothest rider out there

Difficult to say. Contrary to what he thinks, CP is still very popular but it's slowly fading.

I'm not sure there's one above the others. They're people that like simple hard workers like Febvre or Frossard, others the more rock'n roll and stressless style of Ferrandis.

Paulin is really popular but Pourcel's fans can't stand him and as I said before, there are a lot.

In fact, we're really tough with our guys and they almost all have their share of shit at times, lol...

ah ah I agree this is becoming a bit obsessive now!! You guys have an alert for any 'Pourcel' post?

I'm from France and I really enjoy seeing him on the starting grid! Hope he lines up at least for MX. No excuses from him on that day
