Ok you 2 stroke nuts are getting to me... I had a Maico 490 when I was 15 ! and that sound of the 500 brings back so many amazing memories. Maicozilla like the sound of that. I had the baddest and fastest bike in town!

For sure he'll got all the holeshots!!
I'll cheer for TP first and JS 2nd
Depends on length between start gate and first obstacle - and soil type of that stretch of track. If it's loamy and long.. TP may pull some monster holeshots. If start is short - toss up. If start is hardpack - 450s dominate.

The start will favor the high HP 2stroke. The course is seriously gnarly. Discipline will be needed in addition to creativity to win this thing. Take the toughest parts of a Supercross track and make it 3000 feet long . Including a sand section with a turn in it.

Actually TP is running a one-off custom made unobtanium infused powerband. Very trick.

I like that his strategy is to jump as many jumps at one time as possible. I just hope he doesn't get hurt.

Hopefully they won't change the rules, so that all the other riders will have to bust out on some 500cc Two Strokers for the next race in order to be competitiveSmile

Already looks like he has the suspension dialed in really good on that bike.

500s have a much larger and longer expansion chamber than what you're probably used to seeing in a 250 or 300.

my favorite racer in history right here, met him a few times when i was younger and what a class act.

trying to get more out of a 500 than it can produce is a skill that only one person ever on earth has ever mastered, GodSpeed DH
