Seems like they were trying to get the riders to race each other at Press Day.
If you drop a start gate in front a group of Pro's, they're going to race. That's what they do.

That does look great. Interesting the way the startline downhill doubles up as a massive sweeper. Spectacular watching those guys pin round it. Can't wait.
