Don’t hang me out to dry if I’m wrong but it would be 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 missing as Eli would run 1 as he won last year.

No... this year. I quoted a post that said 1,2,4,5,6,7,8,9 would be missing (quite didn’t work) but Eli won in 2016 so he would theoretically run the No1 plate for MEC as Ken had the MEC No1 plate last year as it is it’s own thing. So it would mean 2-9 would all be missing this year no? Or did I get it wrong

Read the Seely interview, he said he was amazed these guys are so fast and still bust out all the jumps, Seely was the only guy not doing the wave section tripling in, at the MXoN and he didn't hit most of the jumps in the warm up either.

If it was a 'normal' entry , I say podium is unlikely, but there are 3 'fast' guys, then Wilson, Bogle, Tickle etc , no Roczen, Dungey, Webb, RV etc , so its a possibility ,not a likelihood, remember Ferrandis going there on a 250 and being top 10 easy .
