Props to any team that does something other than camo. Nothing will top the Blue Angeles Suzuki for mr.

As a Navy veteran, that bike was stunning.

It would be super cool, if they each had to pick a branch and design their bikes without their sponsors and all that and truely dedicate their bikes to the armed forces. very similar to the blue angels bikes.. think how cool that would be.

Honda or Suzuki teams could pull off a USMC theme pretty easily I think.

I don't get it. A splash of what appears as an attempt to put some camo on it and a giant Green Claw is all I see.

Why even bother at that point?

It looks like Monster Energy Appreciation Day graphics.

As a retired Marine, the above bikes are pretty lame...just my opinion, looks like very little thought went into the design.

Well, Tomac and Grant's bike just lost the war. Back in Japan someone at Kawasaki must still be mad. Graphics guy needs to be fired if that's the best they can do.

I'm with you. Unfortunately the sponsors would have to collectively put honoring the protection of the country before brand presence. Good luck with that. Especially when they can keep brand presence and still have a team do camo and call it a day.

The fact that the Military Appreciation night gets the positive attention that it gets is cool to me. There was a time where this would not be so well received.

I can't wait for retro night! It's my favorite out of all the races. Or throw back whatever you want to call it.

Maybe (like the rest of the world) - they find it really fucking weird that your military have any presence what so ever at a major sporting event.

Not meaning to ruffle feathers. Its just weird from a world wide perspective. (Same with the pledge of allegiance being said every morning by school kids.)

Something to be said for no effort versus a poor effort. At least make it look like you tried. And like others, I do appreciate the military appreciation vibe that has been a part of SX for so many years and at major sporting events across the country. Great country, great sporting events, great military...what's not to love?

I've never thought of it as weird to show appreciation to folks who put their lives on the line so I don't have to. Never been a patriotic guy (because I don't agree with everything our government does) but still, we need appreciate those who selflessly give their lives in the name of protecting our country. I can see how there may be conflicting interests for a guy like Roczen or even the manufacturers. I think it's cool but I respect your views.

I was more pointing out the hypocrisy of feigning offense at Kawi's effort while giving KTM a pass because they make a 125 2 stroke.

I feel the same way. Sure it could be more military themed or what have you but I'm just thankful we even have this designated race to begin with.

Yeah, not a good start for the military theme.
