I just stumbled on to the GoFundMe page/link to help send Micheal to the MXoN for the Puerto Rican Team. He's trying to raise travel/lodging funds for himself and his mechanic. The bike is being supplied by Dixon Racing (the Euro-Monster Kawasaki 250 team).

Travel and Lodging for the MXoN week is stupid expensive, I know, I've been looking into it for myself. When you add all the extra crap you have to take/ship...it gets over-whelming.

Not trying to bring negativity into the thread. Just a simple question. Puerto Rico picked Michael Lieb to ride for the team before knowing if he can afford it? Good guy Dixon stepping up is nice to see.

Riders are invited to be on the team based on their skill.

The Team isn't paying for travel, etc.

That's just how it is.

Yea. I understand that. But it sounds weird saying yes to the position not knowing wether or not you will even make it there.

Dixon has helped team Puerto Rico for a fair while, provides full back up for them for three or four years as far as i remember.

He is looking for a little help, you can choose to give it , or choose not to.

Maybe Puerto Rico could fund him since he's doing them a favour. It's a bit fucked up if he's having to use Go fund me.
