Real? With so many bikes on craigs list stating pro ownership its hard to believe any of the ads. What do you think?

Nice bike for a "big" McGrath fan.
Pit Row
It's got standard 46mm KYB forks and I doubt MC would have ridden a bike out of his garage with those things still in tact. "Applied clamps used for the Paris supercross made special for Honda" umm no I think not. MC ran factory Showa forks at the 96 Paris SX. You can find video evidence of this on youtube although I can't find a still photo at the moment. Pretty certain the factory Showa's were 48 or 49mm in 96 so there's no way they're fitting in those clamps...
As somebody else pointed out....standard wheels, standard suspension, standard PC pipe and silencer (although those old PC silencers with the stinger are RARE), they look like the replica Honda Racing clutch and ignition covers (the factory ones were Mag. and darker), off the shelf WC frame guards (factory FG were different), etc.
It's an OK replica with a set of Applied triple clamps. Nothing more that I can see.
In saying all that, whether some people (Temor a la Mancha) care to believe it, these bikes are awesome and will fetch good money. Someone will pay 5K for it.
Makes me think I should sell mine.....
