I'll use the Manning family as a reference. Peyton went to Tennessee, bitter rival to Archie's alma mater of Ole Miss. He did great, and that relieved some pressure of being Archie's son. He was Peyton, not Archie's son. Then Eli comes along, and he was Peyton's brother until he won a Super Bowl. Then he was Eli. Watch "The Book Of Manning". It's one of the greatest documentaries you'll ever see.
Point being, when you're part of a family who is already famous in whatever it is you're doing, more often than not, it will benefit you to go out and do your own thing. Make a name for yourself, in a good way. I think Malcolm would benefit by doing this.
I, along with several others, think that dehydration issue in MX was total BS. He didn't want to be out there racing when his brother was going through his controversies. Whether that was family orders or what, who knows. Like I said, it's time for Malcolm to spread his wings.
Personally, I would have taken him over BB4. With his starts, Baggett will get eat up in the 450 class, imo. And Malcolm is still super young.
Just weird to me he doesn't have a ride. Then again, Metty deserves one, too.
