I've heard rumors that Malcolm Stewart has been saying his motorcycle is not that good and this why he's not doing good this year. But from watching the races, seeing how well he gets off the starting line (Mt. Morris start is up hill, he got a good start and his a big guy). If a big rider can get off the line in the 250 class on an up hill start, the bike has plenty of power. His riding a Suzuki, we all know that the Suzuki is a good bike and his suspension looks good, so it has to be his fitness.
Starting in the front and fading back and back could only be one thing, he's out of shape. He's using the old excuse of "my bike is not fast enough or good enough and if it was, I'd be doing better". That is such a bad way to show no respect for the team that is supporting you and paying your salary. I feel bad for Suzuki City for having to put up with that type of attitude.

The Shop
It's just very obvious after the 20 min mark who is still charging and who is cruising.
That's just an honest question, I don't really like or dislike him for any reasons.
Top half of the field in his rookie year, top Suzuki on the day and doing so on a privateer team
Has yours, or other people's, sense of reality become warped??
For ANY RIDER, he's having a good rookie outdoor season

^That doesn't look like fading to me.
And he DNF'd 3 laps into moto 2 so...

I don't see him really "dropping anchor" in either of those motos either. Sure his times dropped off slightly but so do almost everyone else's except for a select few guys.
Pit Row
I'll tell you who definitely isn't out of shape is Bagget. The kid looks even more impressive in person outdoors. Total animal at the end of the moto.
may be he has an illness or something?
He can pull a start as good or better than ANYONE...
He can't run the pace that Baggett & the "fastest' guys can...yet.
Malcolm is a kid who seems to never have taken racing very serious prior to last year. I'm very impressed and think he's going to be a factor next year.
