Since you guys are all caught up in the Baja moment, I figured some of you might enjoy this. It's helmet cam video I took a week ago on a charity dual-sport ride, following Malcolm on a pretty tight little trail with a death drop on the right. It may not look as hairy as it was because you lose sense of the height and steepness of the drop. I had a really great time riding with Malcolm and Mike Bell all day. We put 120 miles on the odometer over a wide variety of terrain in the San Bernardino Mountains, not far from where Malcolm lives.

Shark rocks switchbacks in Gifford Pincot Nat'l Forest. Probably 1500-2000' ft drop. Zero chance of survival. And there's shit like this all over.
There's anther good one in this vid around the 10:30 mark

It runs through that Nat'l Forest. I've probably crossed it a time or two.
Costa Mesa.... I lived there once upon a time. Harbor & Adams.
Had some good times around there.....
Follow that fossil you little know-it-alls.
No GuyB thats not riding on the PCT, there is some nasty crap up here.
Malcolm has done his share of nasty rides all over the world, show some respect, damn he's an old man.

I was just giving the cali guys shit for their trail riding descriptions. After living and riding for years in SoCal I find it amusing.
I used to work for Malcolm. He rocks.
I find this very funny.
Cool to see he's still out having fun.
Malcolm Smith is one of motorcyclings greatest treasures ever.
