Mad Skills MX...Opinions?

I've played MSMX a few times now on iPhone and I like it, although I liked the desktop version better.
The turborilla guy also had a trials game that was set in a warehouse and you had to work your way up to the top of the course... it was awesome!

But I like MSMX and I'm sure it will provide me a lot of fun.

The game IMO isn't as good as 2XL SX Lite but then again I know it wasnt designed in the same vein. 2XL got old fast though but I can foresee that MSMX wont.

How do you guys like the game?

I feel as though the game is missing something, although I can't put my finger on what Huh I think it's quite repetitive.

Trials HD as mentioned above, is an awesome game with a lot of varying levels etc.

Also, 2XL Games are releasing a new MX game very soon, Ricky Carmichael's Motocross Madness, seems quite interesting and definitely worth a buy, however I'm struggling to find any info on it Blink

I love the game but am not into the power options. The glider especially.

But, my biggest beef with the game is how much battery it uses.

I have the computer version and make awesome tracks. I've been working on making replicas of the 2011 supercross tracks. So far I just finished LA.

I've been playing the game all day at the expense of my Chemistry homework!!!

I haven't played Trials for the XBOZ, but if it is the same trials game that has been online for the past 8 years, yes it is awesome!

So what if it has rocket boost and the spring and whatever else I have'nt gotten to yet.
If you have not noticed, it is not meant to be a realistic game. It is supposed to be a fun arcade game. Personally I don't mind the nitros or the spring, I think they add to the fun factor.

I agree the game was fun before you get all the power up things. They take away from the racing part of the game.

It sucks, but is addicting. Not sure if different on a phone, but on the iPad it's a pain to control.

Yeah the glider is a PAIN THE ASS. And not even fun.. overall i enjoyed this game, i ditched it on the final league though, wasted enough time on the easier levels, those last tracks were ridiculous!

absolutely, I think the game is killer but would be better without the gadgets. And the fact that you are forced to use them just pisses me off when I play. nailing the jumps/whoops is the fun part, that other crap just takes all the fun away. I don't even care about the flips. FMX ≠ MX.

Take away the gadgets and give it a 'scrub' button... sweet.

The computer version is sweet cause you can make and share custom tracks. I've got some that are really sweet and also replicas of the 2011 SX tracks.

It's a great game. The OpenFeint system makes it WAY more fun, you can challenge your friends and battle for lap time supremacy.

I finished it on my iPhone 2 nights ago. Turboglide 1 and 2 were the hardest levels in the game but once I figured out exactly how the glider worked I beat both of them within 30 minutes of eachother. Kind of pointless flying over the entire course, but whatever.

Biggest let down? Finally beating all the levels and only getting a GAME OVER screen.

iPhone vs iPad... iPhone blows it out of the water. The physics on iPad seem wacky and the buttons are too small for such a big device.

I don't mind the boost and what not.

The very first thing you do with this game is switch the controls so the steering is on the left, and the throttle/ brake are on the right.

Has anybody actually used the rocket boots to gain an advantage????

theres a couple levels (at least on the computer fersion) that the rockets are required to beat the computer.
