Man.....that is 100% truly badass Mick!! Consider me jealous! Glad you and your son are having fun with the sport.....it's what it's all about. Makes it even better having a kid to share it with.

Nice. Puts a lot of the junk we get caught up in into perspective.

That's awesome man!

I have a 25 mo old and although he LOVES trucks and bikes and all that, he has no interest in his Strider bike, much less any sort of dirtbike. Maybe some day.

Enjoy it man, those are awesome memories.

OMG cute! With this shot I have a flashback on THAT guy at every race who has taken his shirt off and has bellied up to the fence. Usually a beer can in the shot but in this case looks like G2 Gatorade

so many good memories of that exactly! fortunately/unfortunatley my son, after being super into MX/SX as a toddler, is only a fan not a participant. fortunatley he/we followed HIS dream and now he is living it.

moral to the story...IMO. follow your kids dreams not your dreams for him, and don't worry if he doesn't ride MX you will still have time to if you make it part of the weekly routine. i.e. daddy time for a few hours each week. sure you'll miss a few but you'll make more than you miss. ride on! enjoy your time with your boy!!! they grown and gone before you know it...

I've been taking my son to MX/SX since he was 2.5. He never raced moto but at 15 loves racing shifter karts. (Yes a CR125 for you two-stroke talibanners). He's been to Dallas, Houston, Phoenix, Freestone, and Millville. All good times but now we're chasing his interests.

nice photos, It's a shame they don't go braapp braapp anymore.

they sound more like someone farting while sitting on a fake leather couch

nice looking kid....

My 26 month old loves her stryder and is comfortable on it but I woulldn't put her on anything with a motor that's for sure.

that is awesome, i know the feeling! My 3 year old has been riding his CRF50 for almost a year now, mastered his strider before he was two, and started riding a pedal bike with no training wheels on his 2 year old birthday...he love 3 things in life, Motorcycles, bicycles, and golf.....lol, i have never golfed a day in my life, but he picked it up somewhere, and honestly lately, i think golf has surpassed his interest in 2 wheels...if i ask him, you wanna go out back and ride or go the driving range and hit some balls, it used to always be riding, lately its been hittin balls...

That is awesome, took my boy to Unadilla for his first race. He was already planning next year's trip while we were sitting in the 2 hour line to get out. Good times that you never forget

He did wonder why no one in the crowd was wearing a shirt?

Some of the best times my five year old and I have are at the track. The best thing about motocross is how well the professional riders treat young fans.

I just don't see that little guy riding a 50 at 22 months by himself. If he can wow.

very cool. my daughter also loves motocross, she usually asks to watch it on tv. took her to a local race this summer where I raced and she knew it was me coming around every lap cheering for me. she was about 2.5 at the time. she also has a pw50 she rides.

Awesome. Thanks for that smile. One question though, does he always rock the "low trou, gangsta"' look, or just caught him in a moment? Silly

Thanks guys! I never knew what it meant when people tell you your life changes forever when you have kids till I have my son it is truly amazing he is a motocross kid for sure he runs around yelling Braapp braapp. When we are done riding I have to literally peal him off his PW he throws a fit will not let me take his helmet off. I started riding and racing when I was 3 myself and then as I got older my parents got divorced and my dad sold my dirt bikes around 7-8 years old and I remember being so upset and all I wanted to do was ride. So I have the chance to give my son the chance if he wants it! So far looks like we will be racing and start to travel in the next 2-3 years.

He loves his strider too got him one for his 1st Birthday and has mastered it pretty good for how old he is.

This is him at his 1st Birthday

This spring on the stider

I bought him his pw50 when he was 18 months. This picture is from June. He has full gear fox boots and jersey and size 16 pants fit him perfect. He hasn't been on a track yet probably wait till next year. Just rides around the house we have fields all around our house.

Forsure never ever forget these times so I try to spend as much time as I can with him and my 8 week old daughter too.

Got some pics like that to but my son does not sleep when he has been around dirt bikes all day. When we got home he wanted to ride his bike so bad 1st thing he did was run to his bike and jump on it. LOL
