For all the chest pounding that MXA does, their web site sure makes a lot of mistakes.

Dungey is 14 points behind Tomac? Dungey went 1-1 and KROC went 3-3 at Millville?

They really just need to stick to covering REM races. Something they understand.

Wow, some typos. Stop the presses and go home, MXA.

I've seen lots of typos at the RacerX website as well...on a regular basis in fact.

Third, Dungey is 14 points behind Tomac. Dungey could get get those 14 points back by winning one moto — if Roczen finishes 10th or worse.

An occasional typo here and there is inevitable. The number of typos found in online publications today is much higher than what I feel should be acceptable. I have regularly seen more mistakes in a few paragraphs online than I have seen in an entire magazine. I think this comes across as unprofessional to many people. Simply put, they should try harder.

Cool. So do you play a game of gotcha on all MX publications or just the MXA.

This is not the WSJ and NYT

Just MXA and Dirt Bike. They seem to be the most amateurish publications.

I don't think it's asking too much to get the venue for the race correct and the riders names, do you? Those aren't typos in my opinion.

Most amateurish? So where does Transworld rate?

I don't read that one.

Don't get me wrong, I read MXA and Dirt Bike. But they could both use a reboot IMO.

Transworld's content is painfully childish, but on the spectrum of professionalism I hate to say they are higher than MXA.

I still love my MXA...
But typos, in this day and age of insta-posting (who-ever the publisher) are bound to be worse. We had MONTHS of proof-reading years ago, lol.
I'll take the odd boo boo for quick results!

It's an autocorrect and Ibonics world nowadays. We've all no doubt sent and received texts and emails riddled with spelling and grammatical errors, that the recipient could nonetheless decipher, however in producing a product for remuneration and public consumption, a little more caution might be in order. When a bunch of dirt bike riders(where's that old BobbyM signature line?) notice such errors, that's really saying something:-)
