Bummed I haven't made it down this winter, had a lot going on the last few weeks. I even saw that they had a thursday practice recently!

That place gets so crazy with peg dragging ruts all the way across every jump face. Must be how Villo and the Hill brothers got so good..

Small world, I was there the weekend after that race for their vintage series! Not so sunny and pretty the day I was there, but it was still a blast. That dirt soaks up the water and is still decent to ride even when it looks bad.

I'm with you on the theory about PNW and ruts as far as making RV into a monster. When you look at what he did on those super rutted SX tracks, growing up here had to help him!

God I spent 20yrs of my life going there! Hopefully get in a few practice rides this spring before they switch over to PIR.

It's funny how much I miss that place and how fondly I remember until I ride there and remember how gnarly it is. Grew up there.
