MM25, what happened to him last night?

5/7/2017 2:08pm
Here's my guess:

MM to Roger:
"Roger, I've dealt with enough shit this week. I took one for the team last weekend and I'm steering clear of the battle tonight. I can't deal with another week of black eyes so don't expect a repeat from me"

All joking aside, anyone know what happened to him? Mechanical?

I'm curious too, they never gave updates on him in the broadcast. He was running 6th, then they showed him pulled off behind the mechanics area, nothing after that.

I figured he was sick or had a practice injury during the week. He was off all day. Didn't he qualify like 9th?

He really prefers jumping through whoops over skimming the whoops.

He really struggled in his heat race, looked really bad (I wish I could look that good on my best day lol). but for him, something was really off.

I'm surprised the wind didn't impact the race more. I HATE riding when it's windy, especially big jumps.

Crashed in the whoops. Bike launched into the other lane and was too tweaked.

He was off for sure. I wonder if the stress from last week got in his head. Unlike his teammate, he hasn't really been conditioned to deal with the spotlight, not to mention all the criticism and controversy. I can only imagine he got raked over the coals for all the negative publicity he brought the team, regardless of whether he "followed orders." Has to be hard on him.

Maybe he saw what was going on in front of him and didn't want to get involved.

I'd have to agree with BD Bomber. Said: I'M OUT OF THIS. But it was no problemo, a sos to a fellow Baker Boy and that's all it took. Dunge has connections Wink

Or maybe he crashed in the whoops and his bike was all bent up.

Pulled into the mechanics area for a little bit and then rode back to the pits.

If he followed team orders why would he be raked over the coals?

Stress? What stress??
You don't actually think Marvin comes on to vital to make sure the fans still like him do you?

After last week, he got a big pat on the back from the KTM big wigs, cashed his 1st place cheque on Monday morning and relaxed because he'd done a great job. There was no stress.
He couldn't give a monkeys what's written on here or elsewhere.

Hard pack track and struggling and not in the hunt at the very least. Maybe something else we don't know about.

Well, as I understand it, all of the pro's read vitalmx. . . so he probably saw all of the comments and felt really bad and felt like we all raked him over the coals.

Could be he just couldn't find his rhythm, similar to Eli the week prior.
