How does this compare to normal SX?

Or is it better to compare it to the series? Sick

The guys from 14th back make more at a normal supercross (450 class). The guys 14th forward do significantly better at monster cup. So the series payouts are more tilted to keeping a full gate on the road.

$19068 per event in the 250 class... Yikes

Maybe it's worth there being more than 20 bucks between some of those places.
I now see why it might not be a bad idea to go ahead and advance Justin Hill to the 450. . .

Kidding but the difference is a bit odd. I wonder what the logic is behind the payout structure.

They don't care about 250 riders. That's their logic

I'm not quite as old as dust, but I still remember the small bike class in Supercross being called the "support class".

the 250 class isn't meant to be a profession...

Ever wonder why the guys in the minor leagues of baseball don't make as much as the ones in the MLB?

You're probably right with that logic.

But I don't know that baseball is a fair comparison. Most years, there is more competition in the 250 class and the 250 guys run times regularly comparable with the 450's. Not every race but it's not a rare thing either. Plus, the 250 guys have half the season to make money. Lastly, without the 250 classes as a part of the night show, I would guess that the crowd and ratings drop off significantly. None of that is true with minor league baseball teams.

I don't particularly care one way or the other, but just giving some other aspects that make the payouts a little more perplexing.

I get what you're saying...but I've seen some very good minor league baseball games before. Doesn't mean that that they should be paid as much as the guys in the majors....
