He is not the biggest guy and i think he could ride the 250. A lot closer to his full potential, from 16 yrs on his opposition grew into big men.

Not to contradict Tony, but I'm pretty sure @malessi800 rode a 250 for several seasons('05,'06,'07) for KTM after he turned pro...

Kind of piecing together the hints that were dropped on dmxs last night. Didn't catch it at the time but now I think maybe be was the one they were alluding to that may be getting a shot at a ride depending on how he does at the race at echeckonee. Maybe not but just what seemed to come to mind

love to see him ride 250 outdoors, but he wont be eligible to ride 250 SX.
and on that note, i hope they are not thinking of skipping sx like they did a few years ago.

Not too many people remember but Honda was promoting Mike and Jeff on the then new CRF 250. They were riding the bikes for a while before they actually became available in late 03.

Back then those new 250s and the Alessis were creating a huge buzz...

MCR on Honda as OEM for 2014...might be a great match. Honda is pretty much the only team Team Alessi didn't napalm a bridge with, or am I wrong?

Ya I actually think it will be good for mike to be on a 250, you always gain a lot of confidence on a 250 because there much easier to ride and you tend to ride at 100% so if he can bring that over to the 450 it will benefit. It's a great idea.

Mike wasn't a revver on a 250 either... But I do think it'd do him some good, he's so smooth sometimes, looks like he could use some more aggro!
