Husky was on top when they were made in Sweden. Down hill since the move to Italy. They still make a good (not great) bike but their marketing, parts and sales network at abysmal. Just my experience as a long time Husky dealer.

Yes! And a top ten rider in sweden throw it away today and bying a Suka!! This is no joke! I heard it couple of minutes ago! It was absolutely impossible to fix the suspension sayes rumors. Just like Knights rumor.......... To change front sprocket you must assembly the swingarm? Muahahahah! It's like Ferrari! Fagfashion and no function. Try to drive a F-40 fast longer than 2 hours and it will brake. Ferrariowners don't like to tell you because they can't sell the piece of shit? Same with Huskyowners.
I don't know why the embed code is working this way (Guess everything related to Husqvarna now sucks), but try clicking the link below the Vital MX "error code" header, titled Change the TE449 sprocket. Looks like it really sucks!

Yeah, it's weird. It does that when "previewing" embed Vimeo videos.

I don't know a thing about the Husky, but they look to have come a long way.

Are they pricey?

M Lieb has not been on the startingate? Husky is a piece of shit. The Italians make one fast for the italian guys. Is ML italian? NO? Thats why he gets piece of shitbikes until he changes name to Michelangelo Liebello maybe. No one in the whole world race a Husky and pay for it in MX...period

A friends son was promised help w specialparts making it fast and competetive. Never happend.....And in Brittain every Huskyteam gave up when the backup fom Italy never came. The Huskypeople told them that they were riding totally stock bikes w little fixed suspension in MX3 GP and European Champ MX2. I know a Brittish rider who dropkicked 7 (seven)!!! Husky 250 back to the importer in England. Thats why maybe?
I heard just the same story as Big. The Husky wasn't good for his career. It ruined a year for him to put it in kind words.

"working on"???

Here is the 2011 TC449. It's actually been out for a while now. 2011 TC Husky's come equipped with Kayaba suspension now and also Akropovic exhaust systems.

I notice you have a Lucas Oils Nationals sticker on the front number plate. You can't run that bike in AMA Pro events, right? Because of homologation (or lack thereof)?

The 2010 TC 250 is the only Husqvarna homologated.

Bobby Garrison qualified in the top 40 for a few rounds at least. He made the fast 40 at Texas on one last year. When you see an underpowered Husky go by at an American MX race in the top 40 you don't easily forget.

That Husky looks totally rad! It's amazing how a front fender and sano graphics can help a bike. The TC450, on the other hand, is supremely ugly. I don't have a better word for it.

I was thinking the same only with a YZ front fender and number plate (white obviously) will the switch work as well? just drill some new holes?

Here are some more detailed shots of the Husky.
They are very trick, lots of carbon.
I really like the look.

Thanks for the close up pics jeffro,,

The bike looks extremley trick, like you said lots of carbon fiber, is the sub frame carbon? and from the photo it looks like the gas tank is carbon? or just a guard or w/e.

Thanks Jefro98. Those shots are exactly what I'm lookin' for. I'm still waiting for someone to find out the difference between the stock head they were using and this one that they started using at the Bularian GP.

If only the TC449 looked like this. M. Lieb needs this front fender and graphics kit for sure.

The TC 450 used to look like that. This new 449 design has a lot of BMW influence including the engine that was used on the BMW 450. The TC 250 hasn't gotten that treatment yet.

It isn't a bad bike only you need to tune him wright. Lupino rode very well at the GP in Bulgaria and Leib at the Italian Nationals.
Husqvarna was the master at the 2stroke 500cc and 125cc time but those times are long gone (but they are still making very good 2stroke bikes just like TM!!)
