With Mookie, Webb and Martin moving up it may be a down year unless AC or someone can step up and take over. Who else can run with those guys? Plessinger and Savatgy are quick but seem to be a step down.

Savatgy has to be a title favourite no matter which coast he's on.

Ferrandis will be the dark horse

Austin Forkner will dominate East and West, then finish first and second in the Vegas finale.

In 2017, they will be calling the "Lites class" the 250 class as they should. What the hell is a "Lites"?

No such thing as a "sure thing" but Davalos in the 250 class is a sure thing.

He's already signed to star for next year.

A down year? What the hell does that mean?

Why would it matter if the guys remaining in the class can "run" with the guys leaving the class?

Unless the object in question is made of light, it's speed is relative. Plessinger and Savatgy wont be a step down next year, as they will be the top step.

Charboneau, Taft, McAdoo, Stack (maybe), and Crown are a few other names that could add to that list. I said could because I dont know which ones will be going up vs. who will take one last LL run.

Sexton probably next year.

Dono about the comment of Plessinger being a step down I mean how many years has MS been in the lights VS Plessinger ?

I think Plessinger is right there or even ahead of MS's pace

Plessinger and a few others really surprised me this year. Definitely tons of potential there, where I think Malcom has already progressed a ton and may or may not keep going. His experience and surroundings (James) have helped him a lot this year. Plessinger would only get faster if he had similar experience, IMO.

If Mookie stayed down to pursue his 3rd championship in the 250 class we'd call him a sandbagger too.

Colt Nichols, East or West. Knows the West soil (last two seasons) and showed he has the pace Saturday for muddy/wet conditions that the East may hold.

Top team would have to be PC with Joey, AC and AF all with a legit shot at the title.

I don't think time has much to do with someone being considered a "sand bagger"

Mookie struggled for several years before he got to where he is today. Herlings, on the other hand, has dominated the last few years and refuses to move up to the 450 class.

I spent 4 years in the C class...why? I can promise you it wasn't because I enjoyed racing against out of control 14 year olds, it was because I was not good enough to move up a class.

Age cultivates maturity and experience, not always speed. There is a big difference

Plessinger looks to me like he is ready to take it up a notch on a consistent basis, I can't wait to watch him outdoors!
