Solid performance. Grateful, thankful attitude on the podium. Both starts were pretty ballsy. Roosted the shit out of everybody for the first few corners of the second moto. His bike was not noticeably down on power (like it looked last year).

Seems like he isn't ready to push too hard or hang it out too much as the moto wears on. I imagine he is still feeling some effects of two brutal crashes over the last couple months.

Something to build on for sure but he has a little work to do to catch the three bad asses in front of him.

He had a great attitude in the "how was your weekend" video on TWM. Stoked for him and on his performance/attitude.

Yup, He was impressive without being wild. Something to build on. I think Decoster is good for Mike in this aspect that he isn't pushing him to win every time out.

I noticed on the podium that he took in what Roger told him, which was to go at his own pace for that race.

Rooting for Mike to start winning on the pumpkin. I don't think it will take long either.

he could definitely be feeling the effects of the crashes...

or he blew his wad trying to get a big lead in the first 4 laps of a long and treacherous race.

i'd go with number two. on sign of the laptimes, reed was only a second off his fastest lap, but he did that pace every lap. alessi wasn't even close to that pace after he got going again.

but that isn't discrediting his ride, good for him, it's too bad he suffered that crash at hangtown would be cool to see where he would be right now...

Yep....Mike did a great job this past weekend. This last race was kind of a weird one with the mud and all.....but I expect to see mike fighting for a spot on the box as soon as next weekend. There are certain days where he can just flat out haul ass , and he doesn't ever seem to give up. He may not have that balls out type speed of RD and RV , but with his good starts......they are going to have to work to get around him.

My guess is , he'll be on the box at least a couple times this summer.

Really stoked for Mikey, and its great to see him and Roger smiling after the moto: (from Pit Bits)

Mike put in some work this weekend, jumping through hoops to get cleared by the Asterisk Mobile Medical crew, and riding through pain in his shoulder. It was cool to see he and his team manager, Roger Decoster, having a good chat afterwards.

I was never a big Alessi fan , but I think that was alot to do with his father being such a negative influence on him . I think that working with The Man is starting to show in his results , and I'm happy to see him doing well again. Please Tony step back for good and let Mike do it his way .

Ha, it`s funny Bobby, you blame scooter for one person and laugh at anybody who mentions that another scooter might not be the best fit for another person. Hip, hip , hypo..., I mean hooray.

Thanks Jeffro,

I wonder what they did with the broke piece? It would make a great souvenir for someone .

Alessi lead the majority of the second moto before crashing. Crash82 had to put his bird dog outside because he was hollering so loud it scared her.
