AWESOME!! Damn!.....This whole week has been full of good news! ML getting a great ride across the pond , Kim McGrath finding a donor , Trey resigning with Honda , RV back on the bike , LL's starting up.

Sure seems like a great week.......and it's only friggin' Monday!

That's good! With losing so many contenders in 2013, MX2 needs some talent to stop a yawner next year.

At least in 2012, CLS is really 3 teams: (Add Monster and Pro Circuit to each names)
Team CP377 in MX1,
Team NGS junior based in France (MX2) ( A development team like Team Green in the US)
Team Floride (MX2)

Great team for him, will be interesting to see how he does next year. He was fast on the Dixon Yamaha this season before he got sick, and he will have a full pre season to prepare for 2013. This is his time.

Can he be America's first world champ in nearly 20 years?!

Yeah CLS are a french team but i'm thinking their MX2 workshop and Harry Nolte operate out of Belgium?

Pretty sure Searle and Roelants did all their testing and pre season in Holland and Belgium.

Aren't they partnered with Van Beers too?

Lupino is also on the team. Both husky boys to Kawasaki then.

As for him being world champ, probably not next year with Herlings still there, but in 2014 it could very well happen.

Just to answer a few of the questions on this thread:

Michael's illness seams to be subsiding and he is back training on the bicycle and in the gym.
Michael should return for the British GP and finish the season for Dixon Yamaha.
Searle and Roelants are both over 23 so are moving up to 450 leaving 2 spots open at the Flo Ride (CLS, Monster Energy, Pro Circuit) Kawasai team (as it is known this year), this is the team Michael will be riding for.
Based on his podium performance at Fermo Michael was the top pick for many teams in the pits however Monster Energy Kawasaki was the first to issue a contract, they have race proven equipment and Michael believes they will provide him with the right environment to be successful.
Michael will most likely live in England as CLS have a workshop there they used for Searle's practice bikes. With friendly people around him that speak the same language Michael believes this will be a good fit.
The team would also like to leave it open for Michael to race the first few supercross races of West Coast Lites however with the GPs starting earlier in 2013 this will be decided closer to the time.
Michael and the Leib family are extremely excited about this opportunity and expect to have a successful year in 2013.

Lupino?! hmm that's a shock. He could do well, he has had some good results on Husky, so with a pro circuit Kawi he could be up there.

I'm really pumped for him, and personally congratulated him yesterday, but not 100% i agree with this comment! In my opinion he hasn't really proved hes quick enough for the CLS ride...he's on a different level to Searle and Roelants!

He looks a much better rider this year, at least I think anyway.

This sounds like a great set up for Leib, living in England should make a huge difference, he'll feel a lot more settled in an english speaking country - its exactly what some of us discussed on here last year!

Looking forward to seeing him at the British GP in a few weeks (hopefully!)
