LMAO! I could see that thing going off every time you hit a bump.

In that particular instance, it looks like it might have been remotely triggered......

Check out about 45 seconds in, it certainly didn't deploy instantly....

I read an article a while back about a guy on a sport bike doing what anyone would do with 140hp in a 400 pound vehicle when he hit a car i believe.....he was wearing an inflatable jacket..ended up with a broken wrist or something after he flew/flopped a few hundred feet on the pavement...

the first video. it looked like that airbag will grip the bitumen and slam his head into the ground.

the worst thing about those is, you only get one shot. if your crash isnt bad and it deploys...then what? take it off and continue racing only to have a bad crash later and really need it? i dont know. ive been throwing around ideas about air-actuated safety vests for a while. i just dont think they will be around long. who knows...

The air things don't really even work in street racing I don't see them being around long. As for their next comp they will have the A-stars brace and then will compete with themselves atleast when there new product comes out.

If I remember right, it triggers with a kill-switch type of arrangement. You have to come off the bike and then a string triggers it.
