Here is my latest build that is roughly 90% completed, still waiting on new tank, and yes, I still need to get the wheels done before calling it complete but I am getting there. Hopefully will have it ready for the "A Day in the Dirt" race on Thanksgiving weekend with a day or two of practice beforehand...
Sorry in advance to GuyB and other photo studs for the lack in quality pics as they were taken from my iPhone, when fully complete, I will spend the time to break out the heavy artillery for proper pics.
I will finish this build, wrap up my 88 RM250 restoration which is also about 80% complete and then move on to the garage updates

The Shop
i did it myself though theres prob a difference between a professional job and a old compressor with a harbor freight gun and hopper..
I'd actually like to see a few pics of the '88 RM in the background.
I had learned a few tricks from Buster Lawrence (Father of Phil and Randy) a dozen or so years ago when I helped prep his bikes for Mammoth Motocross (vet weekend).
(1) I am using S.O.S. steel wool soap pads
(2) Along with Lime-A-Way tile cleaner
and (3) a bundle of elbow grease.
This is also what I use to shine up any of the factory finish exhaust pipes.
I have also been looking for an 88 RM125 to restore as well so I can have a matching pair. Almost had one in NJ but the seller flaked out on dealing with the shipping company for pick up as he wanted it picked up immediately local and no large trucks. I bought this RM250 from the east coast last year and had is shipped to me.
What kind of shock is that?
Top job cutting the side panels, they look sick, cant wait to see it with a seat on.
Another trick that I was used was to mark the panel where I wanted to start and end the cut, then used an old panel to provide a pattern to trace with small arc so it is not just a flat square looking cut.
The engine has Pro Circuit porting and head work with carb mods and definetely provides a fair share of power.
Pit Row
bring that thing to zaca once it is dialed i want to hear it sing..
This is the best pic I have from behind. I don't think it looks bad at all.
