Do they have a petting zoo too like the 4H fair? Love those baby goats, so cute.

This race has always been a favorite of mine. The track is always awesome and the racing is close and tight with a lot of really fast guys. If you're in the area definitely check it out.

I'd prefer the fainting goats... how awesome would it be to see that!?

My son is about to turn 4 and there was a stage he went through when he would throw a fit and totally pull a fainting goat move where he would jut throw himself on the ground... frustrating but just the term fainting goat kept me smiling inside Smile .

Years in the past we have got 2 to 3 thousand spectators a night, and 100-150 racers..

last years track seemed pretty tame. There was really no section that I can remember that the riders could not take the easy way out if need be.

I think they ran a real good program (it was our first visit).

I've heard a lot of great things about this race. In fact, I was thinking about coming out for the race tomorrow or Thursday.

Be careful about throwing around the claim about "biggest mx race in the Midwest"... I know an amateur race in the Midwest that has about twice as many spectators and over 3 times the number of unique riders in a single day (mxx421 might know which one I'm talking about). Just sayin.

It is going to be tame. We don't want to have anyone worrying about having sx suspension, and keep it friendly for the amateurs..

It has been called the "Largest Race in the Midwest", because years in the past we have had over a 20,000 dollar purse, and draws a lot of fast pros....

I'd go for "richest race in the midwest" then... who knows, if you market it that way then maybe you'll draw even more pros. "largest race in the midwest" to me evokes large numbers, not big money. Just a thought.
