450s:
1. Stewart
2. Ryan Villopoto (like OP said, if he doesnt crash out trying to run Stewart's pace.)
3. Trey Canard
4. Ryan Dungey
5. Chad Reed

Lites:
1. Broc Tickle
2. Josh Hansen
3. Martin Davalos
4. Tyla Rattray
5th could be anyone, Seely, Tomac, Decotis, Baker, Craig, Morais, etc. all of them have shown podium speed, and definately top 5 speed.

Stewart will win if his traction control device helps give him the holeshot again, LOL!

It could happen, but if all keep it on two wheels (besides your Stewart prediction) I wouldnt bet on CR22 and RD1 finishing ahead of Poto...

but hey, theyre your predictions, and anything can happen in SX.

I actually predict that JS and RV will come together and cause Stewart to go down and Villopoto to get a bad start and struggle coming through the pack, and the track looks like its going to be slippery and Dungey and Reed ride extremely well on slippery tracks.

My prediction is out of Stewart, Villy, and Dungey-whoever is up front and doesn't wreck will win. Track looks pretty simple and so it's all going to be about the start amongst those three.

So
1) Alessi
2) Ryan Clark
3) Stewart

I'd like:

Stewart (by a mile)
Reed (20 lap battle with Dungey)
Dungey (20 lap battle with Reed)
Villopoto (bad start, and crash)
Canard (Bad start)

I have a hard time betting against Hanson in the 250's.....but I'm going to anyway...

he didn't say hope. i'm sure nobody here "hopes" a rider will crash, he's just saying he could see another slide out like last week.

I didn't mean "hope", I didn't even mean "I'd like" (I meant "I like"-typo-...as in "here's my best guess").

Also, I was simply trying to justify why Villopoto (who seems to be the 2nd fastest guy on the track right now) isn't on the podium....

But since he does finish in the top 5, it isn't a serious crash (if it were serious he'd DNF), just another slide out deal, or mishap with a lapper, while pushing it through the pack.

I'd NEVER hope for anyone to crash, ever! But it' a part of racing, and as such I factored in to my pre-race predictions.

I got pissed off but I've known the guy so long that I could only tell him that what he said was messed up.
