Every headline I read, "Regal to L&M!" "Stewart and Regal Teammates!"

Every post inside, "sucks Regal is now SX only," "what a waste of outdoor talent to that team," "Stewart doesn't do MX anymore," "hope Regal doesn't become an actor."

Lots of speculation, no real answers. You've answered some of the retards on these boards, and have always defended your riders and have given real, honest answers.

We just want to hear it from the horses mouth.

Will we see L&M Outdoors in 2011?

I would say that's its way to early to tell.

BTW: No need to blame anyone for this. It takes times to lock these deals down.

JMar - I didn't intend to blame anyone, I just wanted to preface my question... I guess I came off a tad harsh! It's all in good fun, I just like facts!

No problems here. I just wanted to point out that its way early to have everything locked down for next season.

who foots the bill for L$M at this time? what could they possibly gain from the nationals besides some tv exposure. the chief sells one thing and he can almost name his price too....but his wares are only available in socal and at one location. damn nice place too...

maybe Larry has some new cash avenues coming into the team. smart dude and a pretty likable guy usually means a good salesman too. Wink

Why is it so important to know ? it can all change at any time just like what happened last summer.

I wouldn't doubt if Regal races SX for L&M and does the privateer thing again outdoors.

Regal is possibly the strongest second-rider L & M has taken on board. He has proven he can take direction and ride the hell out of a bike. He works for peanuts and won't be too loud. Did I mention he is HELLA fast?

He just doesn't want to race with the risk of injury and not be compensated fully for doing so.... He didn't end the outdoor season too far ahead money wise and it is just not worth it in that aspect, because after all, that is what it all boils down too in the long run!

And no I haven't ridden in awhile, just focusing on school and going to be finishing that up soon.

When Stewart resigned he said no explicitly. But, getting a guy like Regal really makes me think they are working on an outdoor deal.

Maybe there have been some major changes over at L&M and both Bubba and Kyle will be "Outdoors" as well.

maybe they'll do one and half moto's and pack it up and go home again.

Stewart had mentioned he was going to do SX only to extend the career and shoot for the 72 wins record, saying it's the only goal he's after. I would hope, he'd wake up and smell the 377 and 41 and the #1 and the 2 and musquin / roczen... and realize that idea is a pipe dream.

Outdoors yes. Indoors? Remains to be seen. Hill is/was a far better SX rider. Regal has shown speed in SX but zero results. I'm happy for him that he landed on a factory backed team. It will be a waste of his ability if they don't do outdoors.

maybe Larry has some new cash avenues coming into the team. smart dude and a pretty likable guy usually means a good salesman too. Wink
TV exposure is getting better, and I thought Bubbs wanted to race outdoors for the next 3-4 years. That would make sense as to why they hired Regal and tried to hire Shorty. One would think Redbull would foot the bill for JS for the nats as they are so tight, buying him a Bently and all...by the way does anyone know what the chief even gets for sponsoring SX?

My guess is Bubba really wants to lead the MXoN team next year and L&M will race outdoors to ensure that happens.

Maybe 'The Chief' is a gambling man... Wink
Perhaps if they win the title indoors,he will foot the bill for the outdoors.

I don't think Regal would sign a contract, not knowing if he would be riding the Nationals. I bet they've already made their decision.
