Ktm Or Husqy 350

Guys,

I am in the market for a new bike, and I cant decide if I want the Husqy or KTM.

Has anyone rode both? I know they are basically the same bike but does the Husqy have different maps or power curve etc. etc.

If there are no differences I am leaning towards the white bike.

The Husky has a Magura clutch which is nicer (from what I have read). I'm been looking at 350's for a while now.

There's just something that I like more about the Husky than the KTM. So I'm gonna say get the white bike.

I also like the Husky more. Rarer, a few more trick parts and the white looks fresh after it hasn't been used since... Honda in like 1991?

If you get the husky, you can actually own a ktm without having to associate with ktm owners

I'm not sure on the 4 strokes , but I think this holds true with them as well.

The Husky's have Husky spec motors and suspension....and the KTM's have KTM spec motors and suspension. There are other small things that are different. I know that prefer the feel of the Husky when I sit on both. Just the way the shrouds fit and so forth. That , and I just dig the look of the Husky's more....but that's my own opinion. Both are great machines.....just have to pick which one feels best for you.

Man that thing is pretty.

Jeff-- I have never rode or even sat on the white bike, Im leaning that way as long as the dealer dont try to rape me.

Thanks guys!

The Husky looks better, the KTM has a little better low end pop due to the different air box. They say you can fix this by drilling holes in the Husky air box.

I have a 2016 KTM and a buddy has a 2017 Husky. Chassis feels the same.

Sit on both, still not sure? See which is the better deal.
Seriously you can't go wrong either way, they're mostly the same bike.

I would go with Husqvarna. It has got some nicer parts than KTM in stock like D.I.D rims and carbon composite subframe

Cant go wrong with either bike. I rode a '16 ktm 350 and man that thing was fast. The most fun ive had on a 4 stroke in a long time. My personal opinion but id go with the husky. Like others have said, you dont see as many of those at the tracks compared to ktms and i love how they look. Have you ever ridden a 350?

I've ridden both and I chose the Husky. Like others have said, subtle differences and I just preferred the feel of the Husky. Can't really make a bad choice, though.

I only had to ride one to know I was in love with the damn thing.

It landed in my garage today.

I had a 2016 Husky FC350 so I'm a little more partial to Husky's but I say get which ever brands has a better dealer in your area. You can't go wrong with either bikes so for me it would come down to which dealer is your area is better to deal with.

I was all set to buy the 17' KTM 350 after taking a few laps on one. While waiting for the paperwork to be done,I went over and sat on a Husky 350. Changed my mind right there! Not sure what it was but,it just felt more comfortable. On the track? Again not sure why, but the Husky feels lighter to me also.Maybe the subframe?. As for the airbox deal? I personally could not tell the difference in power. Hope this helps.

pick a color.... it really is that simple. white or orange, they feel like the same bike to me. i will say that the 450 huskys felt a little softer down low compared to the KTM but it was very minimal. i've been on pumpkins before they were the "cool bike"to be on so i went with the orange version. owned a lot of 300s a few 450s as well as a '13 350XCF and the '17 350XCF in the pic

Man that thing is pretty, The husky dealer is coming in quite a bit higher for the price ($500).

I let him know that so we will see if he can bring it down.

I have a 13 KTM 350 and have ridden my friends 2016 KTM 350 and felt the side panels do not interfere with my legs like the 2017 Husky 350 my other buddy had. For that reason alone, I would have to buy the KTM even though I love the way the Husky looks. If the KTM 350 had an Orange frame, there would be no question KTM all the way.
