Guy's:

I need some information on Kidney belts that will support my back, Just donated a kidney to my cousin, but in the process I tore up my already weak back..

I guess being tied down & gutted like a Deer, didn't agree with my back..LMAO

Need to know which belts are tallest & provide the most back support!

Thanks!

I wear the fox kidney belt. Not sure how it would hold up on an impact but I used to have stomach problems while riding and my kidney belt helped with that. It helps keep your organs from rattling around if you don't have good core strength.

If you really donated a kidney, I think you should be asking your doctor this question.

Kind of a dickhead response. And I doubt there are just a ton of doctors out there that know which company's kidney belt he should buy.

I am being serious. A doctor should know what needs support and whatnot. I don't see any of us giving medical responses

I realize that, but he wasn't asking "what" needed support. I think he know "what" needs support. He specifically asked which ones were tallest and which ones offered the "most" support. Please walk into your closest surgeon's office and ask him which motocross kidney belt is the tallest and offers the most support and let me know how that goes.

Ding, ding ding!

We have a winner! The surgeon has no clue. He basically said got one of those back support things like that use at LOWE's or Home Depot.

Now if Dr Bodner (sp) or Dr Mark R from this site told me to get brand A, I would not be asking!

And I did say which one offered the most back protection & was also the tallest!

A surgeon will tell you to not ride at all. If you fuck up your one kidney then you've got big problems.

I'm not sure about the kidney belt, but cool deal on making a tough choice to save someone else by donating a kidney.

Thanks Cam!

I just picked up one at Scotts performance, it's just what I was looking for!

The other good news is the doctor release me to fly back home to Houston & go back to work on 2/3/14.

A Great day all around!

The person donating the kidney has it was worse than the one receiving one, surgery wise but I'm sure they explained that to you beforehand. Ballsy, and respectable of you to give one up. My cousin donated one to a sibling 6 years ago and still has major back problems. I hope yours heals up nicely and good luck returning to riding!
