Just finished a minute and a half in front of 2nd place after racing 3hrs with some of the best offroad guys in the world, all while riding a 150cc 2stroke. Who says a small bore 2t can't win? plenty of people haha. Congrats to Ryan Sipes, he finished 3rd i believe, his best so far..

But I thought Milner was gonna come over and show us how slow our guys are?

On a serious note, that's pretty damn impressive.

Milner was there, DNF for some reason.

Salvini is a bad ass, but he's a Euro sprint specialist, Milner supposedly was going to have no issues because he raced GNCC style races in Australia.

I do think Milner could very well run upfront next year during a full season, but something tells me he is gonna get real familiar with the way the back of Russell and Mullins jerseys by the end of the year!

I bet you've never rode a gncc. You couldnt be competitive with only rear brakes... These pros come into the turns at an insane speed and need every bit of breaking they can get

I race enduro on a 150 KTM with the fresh 200 kit in it. I don't get tired on it! Admittedly I am an old slow B class racer----

I think if i had to lose front or rear id choose to loose the rear. It would be scary but you have mopre stopping power up front. Unless its raining lol

I had to ditch my front brake one race I and felt absolutely lost without it. Id make my decision to carry on or throw in the towel based on what the terrain is like.

The strange part to me is that the team didn't have a spare caliper set up ready to go, or have a spare bike that they could have taken one off of! He would have lost a lot of time, but experience is experience.

Especially since it was only lap 2.

They have plenty of spares. Not sure why they didn't repair it.

Fair enough, maybe he just thought bail it as there's nothing up for grabs for him, and get ready for the 6 days.

Great ride by Russell for sure.

Milner will be back ready to take aim at the championship next year Smile

No point in continuing after that mishap, especially with the 6 day ahead, Milner, Strang who finishes second and Jones who won the Women's race and finished 21st outright in the Amateur race, are the last of the Aussies to head over for the Six day.

The rest of the team/s are already walking the tests.
