It's pretty awesome that they're getting ahead of any potential incidents and recalling it on their own.

fairly comman amoung most brands today, cheaper to do this recall, than deal with the aftermath if they fail,

one of the more picky ones i saw was when kawasaki recalled KX's to replace the alloy splitpin on the rear brake lever with a steel one,
