Boy this post died quick. I think this bike is a piece of junk and nobody will buy one. (Thought if I said something negative in my post, it might pick back up).

It's the first electric I've seen that actually looks like a real dirt bike.

Any new updates on a release date for these? I can't find anything about them other than 2010 material when they were first being talked about........ Thanks

Awesome! The second these are dialled and properly released a whole new form of backyard riding & freestyle will develop. Will be a whole new scene. I can picture the pro-MTBers getting to grips well with these.

Hopefully it holds up better than the electric Traxxas RC car!

KTM has it going on, that bike looks sleek. The flat acre of land I have next door to the house could use a makeover if I had one of those.

That's EXACTLY what I was thinking. Plenty of land next to my house with a huge field surrounded by trees. The freeride may not be the fastest or best bike available but I would get to ride it any day of the week after work without having to wait for a whole day to free up on the weekend.

I would much rather have both brakes on the bars, you have a lot more control going into right hand turns. If there's no clutch, why not have it on the bars?

So you put a rear brake pedal on your mtb right? I want a Freeride. They look sweet.

Can you imagine the afternoon of fun with 5 or 6 of these babies and a makeshift track on a 1 acre lot?
