Good luck on that one. Decoster said no switching.

Where did Short finish? It was top ten, right?

11th. 1/2 a second ahead of Byrne. He was 8th after 1st lap, ran 9th awhile and finished 11th. He did pass Dietrich at some point though.

Overall I think the 450 pays off on the AMA circuits, whilst the opposite tends to be is true on the GP tracks.

I think with his riding style that he would go faster on the 450. Reallity is that his fastest lap was 2:15.6 and the top two were 6 to 7 seconds faster than that and the top 4 in the 250 class had faster lap times than Short. That bums me because I am a big Short fan.

At least his KTM didn't break down the 1st moto at Mt. Morris. But the weekends not over yet. He has had more DNF's this year on a KTM, than he has had his whole career.

I am a huge Short fan but he is finishing were he is suppose to. He is not a top 5 guy.

Short definately should be ahead of alessi...

But if they pull short off the 350... sales will tank harder than they already are.

Its all business.

I want him on the 450 too though. He would be doing well.

It's got to be depressing knowing he has a full season of racing at a disadvantage.

350 was a stupid idea for US racing.

Yep. So far he's gone from a guy who gets good starts and fights for top positions to pretty much an afterthought. Meanwhile Alessi is looking pretty good on the 450. The 350 is at too much of a disadvantage on most AMA national tracks imo.

Short has never shown the speed Mike Alessi is capable of. I like Shorty but cmon he should be ahead of MA?

I just don't understand how somebody can think taking a displacement disadvantage in any motor sport is a good idea.

Short should defiantly have a 450, they proved that a 350 can't run with the big boys in the top level of the sport (AMA Nationals).

What the Hell have u been watching the last fee years? I like shorty but he's not close to mike outdoors. That said he'd be better on the 450 for sure.

x2. The 350 will be extinct in 5 years.
Why would Roger offer the riders to let them chose their bike? Short is trying to make a name, while Alessi couldn't give a shit and know's what he can do on a 450.

In an interview Decoster said he would not allow either Short or Alessi to change bikes during the year. If you picked a 350 to start the year, that is what you will be riding at the end of the year.

In 2 weeks you mean? Budds Creek is next week.
Yep I was just wishing. Being fathers day and all. I still might have to go to TV this year if I can scrounge up some free tickets.
