it's a great bike but it's not as good a the 13+. The motor doesn't rev as high and there is less power throug all the rpms.

The suspension of the 14 seamed to work better of the bat than the one on the 12.

If I had the choice even for a bit more $$ i would definetely go for the 13+ generation

My 11 is great, Mine had the known issues but, KTM stepped up and took care of me. Solid, couldn't be happier.

The 11 and 12 350s aren't even in the same ballpark as the 13-14. Not even close.

The 11-12 350 is like the 13 250.

Bingo!

And the newer 350 is like a Factory Services 250 (aka REALLY FAST)

like others have said the 13 onwards 350 is in a different league to the earlier models! i rode a 2011 when they first came out and couldnt understand what all the fuss was about. Did a few laps on a 2014 model 350 a couple of months ago, then went out and bought a 2015 350! absolutely love it! The bike is completely stock, i have raced it twice now (6 motos) and got 3 holeshots, been top 5 off the start every single moto! (im 6ft 1 and 220 Pounds) we race open classes over here so alot of 450s- its easily as fast as a 450 if you keep it in the right rev range, but ALOT easier to ride! especially when you get tired. i find with the newer model there is more bottom end power to mid range so you can lug it up a gear more than you could on the earlier model (it will pull a high gear in the corners as long as you are carrying decent momentum) but the thing absolutely hauls when you rev it!!!

REALLY fun bike- much more rewarding than a 450 for me.

All of the KTM 350's are solid bikes and very reliable. Get what your pocketbook will let you and ENJOY!

Only reason I'm thinking of the older ones is cause I'm a 250 guy but keep blowing motors at sand tracks and I'm small for a 450 I think 5" 9 and 155 but have been racing for a while I think a 350 would be a great bike
