Good for JB, not sitting around waiting for something to happen.

Nice to see he's making the effort, must've been paying attention to Dean Wilson's approach.

I hope he's been paying attention to vital mx and doesn't rev that Honda too high.

Mad respect, found a way to line up with such short notice. There's a few riders who should take note and and follow Justin and Dean Wilson. Where there's a will there's a way.

Big props to my lifelong friend Levi Kilbarger, I'm not surprised at all to see him help out a fellow rider in need.

I hope he does well, I like the way he rides.

Good for him I hope he does well. I also noticed he listed Feld Motorsports as a company that's helping him.. maybe I'm reading too much into this but I wonder if they are helping him get to the race because he usually provides some action which they obviously profit from? Maybe I need to take my tinfoil hat off?

If they're helping him, I imagine it's just because he's a name that draws a larger crowd, which may or may not be related to on-track incidents.

I'll probably never be a huge fan...but I hugely respect the guy for hustling a ride together instead of sitting on the couch waiting for a team to call. Hope he gets a solid ride for the 2018 SX season.

Unfortunately...looks like the #12 bike at MCR might need a rider.

I think it has more to do with helping guide him with the steps to register, pay entrance fees, explain how to get credentials, etc. For a guy who came from amateurs and has always been on premier teams with team managers, these are things he's never had to deal with before.

Good for him. If you put in the work, you will find success.

Say he does well at MEC, that's a great look for a team like MCR.

Bet he gets a podium at MEC and ends up an MCR rider

After that it's up to him what happens

The sport is better with him running at his full speed. Hopefully he finds it.

I don't understand the people who were saying he might be done forever. Dude loves racing and was sure as hell going to get to Monster Cup somehow or another.

Article says he's putting something together for Monster Cup and that he's got an option or two going into 2018. Does anyone know have any idea what those could be? MCR Honda SX only? MXGP's?

The good news is that he's lining up which gives him the opportunity to show his worth. The other good news is that he'll be lining up on a Honda which is the brand he's had the most success with. Hopefully things click for him.

Hypothetically, if Roczen isn't ready for A1 could we potentially see Barcia replacing him at HRC at least for the SX season?

I'm not really a fan of his but having him out there is better for everyone watching.

A+ reference Laughing

Seriously though, hope the best for him. I didn't think he'd actually go through with a privateer effort, impressed.
