I know slightly off topic......but it's off season.
Anyone remember or have one of these? Almost as heavy as a '12 450.
I have the original wheels and grips but I am missing the tractor grip tires. I am looking for some parts for another one I have if anyone knows of any.

Makes we remember the Webco, Ashatabula cranks, Moto Mags, and Matthews bicycles.
The Motomags are a nice score as well.

Here's where it get's fun; Christmas morning I jumped it off of a huge dirt pile. Upon landing, the forks let out a loud 'bang' and stuck in the down position. I was afraid to tell my parents that I had already broken the bike, so I cut slits in toilet paper tubes and taped them around the fork tubes to hold them up. They would eventually compress (the tp tubes) and I would have to periodically replace them. I rode the bike that way the entire time I had it. I finally broke the frame on our infamous 'board over dog house' jump.
Later on, my brother got a new Mongoose with Moto Mags (1980 maybe?). Still have it.
Some of my friends had those monoshock BMX bikes with the bridge girder-like forks. I always thought those were much cooler than my Yamaha Moto-Bike.
I have this Matthews too
Pit Row
-- I always had Redlines back in the day... So I picked up a new school mx 24 Redline off craigslist for $150 a few months ago w/ retro colors. Now it has red anodized layed-back seat post and v-bars. Not in pic...
Went to the old Yamaha Dirt Days event in early '75, where they held BMX races on Moto Bikes that Yamaha supplied. They even brought their own pyramid style jumps made from plywood, about 3-4 feet tall, which ensured a flat land impact. By the end of the weekend, there was a pile of about 30 MotoBikes laying next to the semi trailer, all broken, thrashed.
Not sure how many they brought, but every time one of them broke, they just wheeled out a new one.
Still have my owners manual.
Anyone interested in an NOS Trick Ray front fender?

Dan I was reading that Indian Dunes had a BMX track for a short time around '72. It is credited as the 3rd ever BMX track built. Is this correct? Do you have any pictures?
--- had a 69 RS convertible in HS.... built sleeper... sold it. Hated myself, bought this one 15+ years ago. 2nd owner
Yes, I stole Devin's quote. Sorry kid, I was here first. Not sure about the brand of blue suede shoes, but I do remember the wide leather Yamaha embossed logo belt and the cast pewter DG belt buckle. I bet the Bauer guy rocked one of those back in the day too. And that would have been a PDI t-shirt I was sportin'.
