I'm not even a Kawi guy, but theres nothing more beautiful than a 90's smoker survivor.

In case anyone is looking in the area.......this thing is truly pristine. I've had my eye on it and the guys been trying to sell it for awhile so may be a bit negotiable....but even at $1800, its a solid deal. Love to see the few of these left that have made it through the years untouched.

Only 1800 bucks, fucking hell!

My '98 was my favorite bike ever, right off the floor. The funny part is that my dad and I were supposed to get YZ250's that year, after being life-long Honda guy's and surviving the 97 frame situation. However, about two weeks before they arrived, my buddy got a 98 KX250. I put about 5 laps on it at an open practice, pulled in, and told my dad "we HAVE to change our order to KX's!" The dealer sold both Yamaha and Kawasaki so we called them on Monday, and said "we want KX's." Loved that bike.

Don't know but if you're restoring an old KDX from the same year I feel like you should raid your piggy bank and put this in the collection!

Yeah its the same year! Funny thing is as soon as I finish it I'm going to sell it for a 250T. This one would be a perfect candidate for the Vintage series here in TX.

hahaha..Man its killing me! Its just a damn shame that parts are getting harder to find for the Kawi 2strokes. The KDX parts have been hard to find, even on ebay. I've got a 90 KDX parked in the garage and man that generation is really hard to get parts for.

Sweet Bike!

But...

Rarely used as nice as that means tossing $500 or so more into it... Especially in a Texas Storage shed.

Dry Rad hoses, cables, seals, air filter, carb hoses, Tranny oil, etc.

Who knows? Sitting for decades is both the bane of cars and bikes. Full teardown and inspection, not just a "dump in gas and go" affair. You know the drill.

But that was worth it and I'd reserve a few hundred extra bucks and much love time. Hope ya got it sickboy3636 and do her PROUD!
