I like how he says "I like 2 strokes, wish they weren't so extinct". So do I. Of course there are those who will try and convince us that the modern four strokes are "the good old days".

Nothing quite like the sound of a 125 2-stroke at full song. Riding one of those things will be a lost art soon Wink

Sounds healthy for a 125.

U mean you guys don't like... Fart. Fart. Fart. Fart. Fart. over whoops?

Thanks for the video. Very cool and miss John Dowd on the circuit. Maybe someone will get him to go to my race? :-)

If Dowd puts in R&D for TM, I'm sure it'll be a much better bike!

Nothing like walking into the woods at Southwick during morning 125 practice. Couldn't see the track, just hear what sounded like a hundred chainsaws being held wide open.

Nice! And he said the magic word: momentum. That is what you used to learn by riding a 125 two stroke. How to carry momentum. Very sad that younger riders will miss that lesson.

Am I the only one that thought I was going to see Dowd on a vintage Suzuki?

That thing did sound good. But these days, for every one good sounding two stroke, it seems like I hear 15 misjetted, ring ding, and crappy oil soaked muffler two strokes.
