Never would hit 88 mph with a SX setup.

He's the only one that makes any difference at this point.

Aftet watching him ride the 2 races he did, Im seriously worried he is gonna get hurt out there. He looked so sketchy, and the time off recovering definitely hasnt helped his fitness.

Been a JS7 fan ever since I saw him race GNC's back at the closed Mosier Valley track, here. His racing career has been hard to watch for the last 6 1/2 years now. I'm over it for the most part, but everytime he will show up for a race I find myself still wanting to pull for him.
Still, I'm glad I didn't spring for tickets this year for the Arlington race. I was pretty sure he would be a no-show.
At this juncture of the season, with the racing speed and laps under the belts of the top 10 riders, he should be happy to get 10th, to 15th, place and move over when the track workers let JS know the leaders are coming through.

Actually, no, since 2010 his racing career hasn't been smooth.
When he did try to come back this season, he was dropping back quickly after being 3rd in the holeshot and
actually passing into 2nd for a couple turns.
His corner speed was way off. I'm not joking, been a fan of his and have followed James for at least 15 years going back to his amateur days. But I am now a realist on where he is at. If he races Atlanta, and shows me what he can do without going down, I literally hope he can muster a 10th place finish!!!

I believe he said in his video from Dallas that he was "hoping" to be back this weekend.

Something was posted on IG about him making his comeback in ATL. Wasn't from him, but I remember seeing it.

Said the same thing last week and was called a ignorant redneck. He could really use the last 10 races to get laps in and racing against competition again. If that means being a 5th to 8th place guy then so be it. Like to see him out there regardless and the sport is better when he is at the races.

Damn he was at Mosier back in the day? I live in Bedford now and everyone talks about how good that track was. Bummer it would have been right down the street from me...

Be exciting to see him get a good start. Let's just hope that he doesn't push himself too far (getting caught up in the heat of things) and can stay health/get healthier!

I'm gambling on 17th at best, if he even makes it through practice.

Would be cool to see him finish a race and put in a solid ride. Will he allow himself a 5th to 10th position though?

Id like to see James "test the water" this weekend, and do a safe & focused 5th-10th...then come back the next week and show 'em what's up.
