Man, what a bummer! Heal up Hilly!!

From RX:

Earlier today, we posted a report that said Dodge Motorsports/Sycuan Casino’s Josh Hill would return to racing this weekend in Phoenix, but we have now received an update from Team Manger Kenny Watson. For precautionary reasons, Hill will be out for another 2-3 weeks. He hit his head in a crash at Anaheim practice, and it was the teams decision to sit him for the night show. He’s also dealing with a small injury to his hand.

Again, the team has decided to sit Hill for 2-3 weeks, so he won't be racing in Phoenix.

Wonder if it's the head or the hand holding him back ? either way sounds like he'll be good to get back into supercross, saving the season somewhat.

Yeah I was wondering the same. This is insane though he has the worst luck. There is no way the team can be happy but I hope he gets better and can finish the season.

My worry for Josh has been that his injuries limit his ability to build muscle and he's not able to take a hit. I didn't see the crash so I don't know how bad it was, but thats something I've thought about since he first made his comeback.

Man, I'm a huge Josh Hill fan. Super nice guy and his talent is unreal.
I saw him quad this 3/5/3/5/3 thing in Jacksonville that blew me away.

I just get nervous for him and I'm afraid I'd rather see him walk away with whatever health he has left.
He's the type of guy that could definitely stay involved and sell product and rep riders from this side of the fence.

I hope this concussion and hand injury aren't remnants from when he got Friese'd at Southwick last year?

I watched Josh and Justin moto at there family track the week before getting picked for the RCH ride. Josh was the boss on that track, style and speed to die for. I think most that raced at that level or even a fast local pro would wish they had one more chance at getting it right, on the right team and would sacrifice their own health longevity for another opportunity. No Guts No Pain Np Glory. He's still a young man - Heal up and twist that throttle Josh!

yeah, that's the truth. Can't deny anyone who is motivated to live their dream.

What I was saying is more like "if it were me". And to be specific, that's "me now".

Me "a few years ago" would go for it too!

What an absolutely amazing display of ignornce. No guts, no pain, no glory?? What does he have to do put himself in a wheelchair or die before the message registers with you and most importantly him?

No sport, and absolutely without a doubt not this one, is worth giving up your health and your future for.

So you just putt around the track and never let the wheels of your bike leave the ground?

Ok Big Brother... It's called Freedom and it's a big part of our love of two wheels. Let that boy fly if he wants to.
