Wow that's kinda stupid. 3 weeks to get ready on a bike he's never ridden.

Soooo no support on a bike youve been riding or a bunch of support on a bike that you can figure out?

They couldn't of done this a month or two ago? 3 weeks before a1 is a big ask to be competitive I think.

Good point but I think with riders like Weimer and Hill looking for rides and knowing that their pro circuit rides are only temporary I think that both of them took the best that they could get as soon as they could get; sadly its this late in the game.

I'm thinking at this point josh would ride for team Tornado if they were paying him. The dude is just happy to have a ride. He strikes me as the type of guy who can get on any bike and figure out how to ride it fast. You never hear him complaining about setup. Glad he will be out there as he is most entertaining to watch. He's always good for a wwf style podium interview as well.

I agree and all those guys can jump on any bike and go fast, Hill will do just fine. Cool

Lot easier to be competitive sitting behind the gate than in the stands!

I know he will be. He's one of the most naturally talented out there. I'm glad he has a ride, just saying it's not gonna be pretty first rounds I think..

Yeah Josh don't take the ride you're better off sitting at home without one...some of you clowns are unbelievable...You would also be the same ones bitching that he should just buy a bike a go race when he doesn't have a ride...He must be stupid to take a factory supported ride...

Competitive is a relative thing. I'm a big Hill fan, but chances are that he wasn't going to win the first few rounds no matter what he was riding.

Whether it could have been done earlier or not is hard to know. There could be some outside money that had to be obtained before the ride could be filled, and when you're asking for money it's not always easy to demand the donor to hurry up.

When I say competitive I meant where he SHOULD be. 5-10. I don't think he will be top ten first couple of rounds.

I know rides aren't perfect and there's hundreds of variables in play

You're using your brain WAY too much for this place to handle.

I would guess Josh doesn't really give a fuck if it's 3 weeks before A1. I'm sure he's spun a few laps on champion's bike anyway. He got a ride tho, time to line em up and go racing!

The 75 will be more than ok. I expect to see him excel on this team.

There's a recent interview with Pourcel (I think it was GuyB at Bercy) and Pourcel basically says that he wants to be riding a Kawasaki and nothing else, so I doubt Pourcel was interested in staying with the Valli Yamaha.

This thread is full of failure.

Good for Josh, he will be just fine on the Yamaha. So happy he got a good ride.
