I think Reed and his people are sticking to the real options he had and building the project they thought would make sense and work for him.

Or maybe this makes room for Reed at Valli...Heard last weekend that he was talking to them, and with their extra Yamaha support this year and Rockstar throwing more money their way it could happen.

1. Is the potential of grant > the potential of short.

2. Is this proof that a one off moto win means more than a consistent podium finisher.

To me those are the questions this brings up. I think they are taking an extremely risky to rank 1 higher than 2, especially in this sport where personality and exposure go a long way. Maybe the flatbiller crowd likes grant more, who knows. I don't see grant getting more points than short next year or being on the podium as much.

RV hinted at kawi having a three man team next year, but said if there's only going to be him and one other guy, it would most likely be Weimer.
