I've heard Reed in for Daytona.

I've also heard that the JG's on a very aggressive plan to return...maybe even faster than his team's looking for. I think that at this point, they'd just rather have him healthy for the outdoor season.

Josh was on mxtalkradio last night and said he's now back in the gym but still a ways from riding and they have decided to be sure he's 100% ready before he returns.

He told us on Tuesday's show that he isn't even cleared by his doctors to ride yet. He's only 5 weeks out from surgery, and his doctors want him to wait 3 months. He tore his Labrum which is a pretty dense bit of cartilage so it takes a long time to heal.

He said his progress is going pretty good right now, and he was actually thinking of throwing a leg over his bike maybe as soon as next week just to get some seat time, but he won;t be back to racing anytime soon.
