"Big thanks to @dcracerx for helping me get my shoulder back in the first Moto... So bummed I only had one lap to go! We rebounded nice in Moto 2 tho. Down on the first lap to come all the way back to 13th. Pumped for Millville."

That's 2 weeks in a row where Jimmy has had an incident right in front of me, last week he lost his countershaft sprocket in moto 1 (see last week's racerhead for the photo), then this week his shoulder pops. Not a real good photo as I kind of felt bad taking it.

Hopefully he has better luck this week.

Ouch! Was he able to finish the lap, or was his moto finish determined by his previous pass through the finish line?

Props to DC for tugging on his arm, I've had to do that once to another person and it feels fuckin weird (having popped my own shoulder out a handful of times, I know that weird feeling of your arm moving around in your body like that).

I popped my own arm back in when i had to lift up my 412lb adventure bike. Continued to ride until it popped out again when i had to duck for a branch, linked with a loud cracking noise. Sad That should teach me not to ride on my own!

I saw this today as well and only imagine the guts it took pop that back in and contiue on, eerily similar to what AC attempted to do in Supercross this year. I've dislocated my shoulder more than a few times at the track and had to have ER doc's or my dad put it back into place depending on severity and its certianly no fun even trying to ride a tiny percentage of the speed that these guys do. More reason to love Top Jimmy!

He should get it fixed now and be ready for SX. Each time it will pop out easier and make more damage. Just waiting his new videos.

I remember that time at a Brewers game when Cecil Fielder popped his shoulder out sliding headfirst into second base. Bud Selig hopped out of his seat along the first base line and did the same thing Davey did. Love of the sport bros.

I wasn't quite sure if what I did was legal or not but he was obviously in so much pain and asking for help, I just jumped the fence and starting pulling... Thanks goodness the actual race officials didn't see it! Well, until now.

Been there done that! Judging by this happening multiple times this year and twice in the last 2 weeks....he needs surgery. It's only going to get easier and easier for that to happen; ask AC. Most likely labrum damage, unstable biceps tendon or rot cuff tear, or as in my case, a combo of all 3. I tried to ignore mine for about a year until it got so bad all I had to do was lean forward and things would move around out of place; not a pretty feeling!

Bad ass!

Speaking of wich, Alberto Contador broke his leg during todays stage of Tour de France and tried to get back to the lead for 20km before he let it go.

Asterisk Med Crew has helped lots of riders with injuries and then let them back on the track. Witness JS7 at Daytona a few years ago. I can't imagine anyone getting upset about the "outside assistance". Props to DC.

That's crazy! I dislocated a pinky finger once and thought that hurt. Can't imagine dislocating a shoulder, have it popped back into place and then hop back on the bike.

I think there comes a point where morality presumes over all rules....
