Shortly after that picture was taken, Broc did a bunch of huckabucking.

Emig looks at home in that pic haha I am sure he partied with the best of them back in the day. Broc looks mortified hahahahaa he looks so out of place it literally looks like he was photoshopped in.

Those girls in the Emig pic, some are wives/ex wives/Gf's of racers.
The one next to Emig is the blonde in the God Bless Texas video and is Dennys Ex.
Most of you kids weren't even born then.

Ya'll missed the good days of moto.

Miss those days! I remember running into McGrath, Lusk, and Emig at the check in counter of MGM Grand the night before the supercross. Everything was so politically incorrect and awesome.

Crazy days of moto indeed. Those guys went at it like rock stars. I believe that's Ryan Hughes wife in the lower left corner.

No but I want one. If for nothing else just to irritate my wife.

I think Nathan Ramsey's girl/x girl was in there as well. Emig, Shift, and the "Crusty" type videos was why I got into mx back in the day. I'll take the Sx champion getting busted at Lake Havasu with a weed pipe made out of a Coors Light can all day over the boringness that came and stayed with the Carmichael era. Guess I'm old but those were the days...

I was at this race in vegas and at a couple of the after partys, wasn't emig soppose to be on the straight and narrow than? after loosing his job at kawi? I just wonder if theirs a story behind it, no biggie.. I'll never forget that race though and the odds on him where 20/1 I believe!

Those came out during the years I was going to proms. I seriously considered getting one but never pulled the trigger.

Side note: Emig was one of the nicest guys I met while hanging around the pits with friends racing SX. I was hobbling around the pits on crutches with two broken ankles and Emig struck up a conversation and let me check out the Kawasaki rig. Deegan was always really cool too, and I was just some random kid with a pit pass.

Really wasn't anything too notable. All 3 were standing in line at the check in counter, McGrath and Emig were dressed in their riding pants and jersey, while lusk was wearing normal street clothes. It was about 4 hours until practice was supposed to start so I'm guessing they were getting ready for that. I stared at them for about 5 minutes, but was too shy to approach and ask for an autograph (I was only 8 years old). They were ushered to the VIP check in counter and then walked into the hotel towards the arena.

You sure about this? Why would they be wearing riding gear checking into a hotel? And also it was well noted that they hated each other. I don't see them standing in line together for any reason.

Best times in MX for sure, not just the riders that have changed the public has changed as well. This just wouldn't fly now days, look at the s**t Dungey gets for his naked riding shoot or roczen for jet ski and surfing. The spectators expect the riders to be boring robots.

Yeah, I'm absolutely positive. I don't know if they were checking in or what they were doing, and they werent really interacting. They had their mechanics/managers with them holding gear bags. Also like I mentioned before, they all left heading towards the arena and I know practice was that afternoon so I'm guessing they were geared up for that.

The hot tub ad was done after Jeff won the 1997 Supercross championship.

The US Open win was a couple years later.
