" RC would eat James for lunch" James would be just an appetizer.

Nah. RC won all those races and championships and he never really considered himself being a great SX rider.

Now James may catch him in actual main event wins..........but what about SX championships? Those are what count right? AND...( this is where it gets good )........how many "extra years " has it taken James to catch Ricky's win total?

There are always different ways at looking at things.

Were talking SX here........I wouldn't even dip my toe's into a Nationals conversation.

James is awesome.....but picking up O/A wins in SX is like picking up the scrap's off the dinner table. If he truly wants to be a king at it........72 wins should be his mark. Actually , 73 if he wants to beat it.

I dunno man.......he's looking pretty porky and has been out of the pro racing thing for 7yrs. The only running he'll be doing is to the local Micky D's.

He`s just 7 wins from a hundred. Only Ricky has hit that mark.

When people bring up MC's record..........what number do 99.9% of the moto population say?............72 correct?

Nobody counts the lites / 125 shit. Are you going out on some special limb here? Kind of like the SX World championship nobody cared about either? Christ........I guess we should start adding all the wins these guys had in the Pee-wee classes 20yrs ago. Laughing Nobody cares.

His Lites SX wins doesn`t count. It`s SX, MX Lites and MX wins only. RC has 150, James is at , I think , 93, Mcgrath is at 89 and Reed is at 68.

Pretty impressive considering how poorly he performed on the Yamaha and all the injuries he's had.

Does anyone have the numbers if you included lites SX and 250 national wins?

I wondering who has the most wins as a pro no matter which class.

Ricky hands down. He has 161 wins.
Stewart has 111
Mcgrath has 102.

Well, RCH could use him. According to Kenny, he can run lap times right with Tickle and Hill...but only for a few laps before he has to take a donut break. I say that with genuine respect. The talent and skill is still there.

This tells me that RC/JS/22 were a step above the crowd we have now. If these two old farts can run with our current crop of child prodigies that tells me that the current bunch couldn't hold a candle to them when they were fresh? stir, stir stir the pot!

He's won 3 in 2 years, he's closing in but at a snails pace. RV will be 2nd when all is said in done. (In half the time)

Who gives a shit he earn the right to spend his money any way he wants. Steak, Lobster and Crab taste great, and he does not need to impress anyone, he has already done that.

Beside, most of you non championship earning bitches are fatter then he is talkin trash.... Just sayin....

They both changed the sport in different ways. RC ended the party era, and James raised the bar with his scrubs, basically reinventing how to jump a motocross bike. I would rather watch James race any day because you don't know what he is going to do next and RC was so good that he made it boring to watch....Until James started racing him....
