On this bike, it's a Yoshimura

On the other bike pic, I'm pretty sure it was a Pro Circuit.

This just made me think of something...

I think we can all agree that it's not out of the question that James ends up being in a position where he won't be competing for another championship (ie, doesn't get a deal worth signing and decides not to commit to a serious program of his own). However, even the haters damn well know he's still got at least a little gas left in the tank. It would be f'ing amazing if he announced that he'll enter at least a handful or so of races on his own terms (as a farewell tour of sorts) and actually did race the 2stroke for some rounds...

I realize this sounds like a pipe dream... but the more I think about it... the more sense it makes..

Exactly which 2 stroke is he riding in your dream?

Only KTM and Husqvarna homologate their two-strokes, and Yamaha is the only other manufacturer to have a two-stroke that would be eligible.

I don't think it would be too far fetched to say this could also just be a pc pipe with the yosh tag welded on, being that hes sponsored by them

Agreed. Either way the pipe looks sick.

a point worth reminding people, for sure. Mitch wasn't happy about it either. Matthes did a podcast with Bruce Stjernstrom from Kawasaki, and he talks about how all that went down. Great podcast to listen to.

Fun Fact: David Evans, now JGRMX's head of Marketing, is the man who connected Kawasaki and Chevrolet together for Team Chevy Trucks Kawasaki.

Well if you really want to split hairs, he did. Just not at the pro level.

The one above is a PC pipe with Yoshimura tag. The pipe on the first one is a Bills Pipe with the "simulated" cone design

That's what I can't figure out. There are a few different version I've seen so i assume the plastics and pipes were changed.
